Up for auction is this roll of Mixed Date wheat cents with an undated Civil War Token. The clear, crisp text on the obverse reads, "The Federal Union It Must and Shall Be Preserved". The reverse of the token reads "Army and Navy", and shows a great image of an anchor and swords. The other end of this roll features an Indian Head cent. We will be offering a number of Civil War tokens this week--these came from a nice collection in Illinois. The rest of this roll features a decent mix of older coins. We have purchased a number of similar rolls ourselves from eBay, and are often disappointed by rolls that are chock full of 1940's and 1950's wheats, and nothing else. We are also tired of seeing other sellers claim rolls are "unsearched." So, we will just tell you that this roll will be 60% - 70% 1940's/1950's, but it will also contain quite a few 1920's, some 1930's, some steel pennies; we will throw in an occasional coin or two from the 1910's. We make an effort to have at least 1 of every 3 coins (on average) to be something other than a 1940's or 1950's wheat. We do not use stock photos: the coins/roll pictured will be the ones you receive. We will combine shipping on all items won from us in a 3-day period; the eBay invoice will charge full shipping and handling for one lot, but will then only charge $1 shipping per lot for each read more
