Original 7.5x8.5-inch black-and-white publicity photo / movie still was produced to promote an unidentified silent film, probably produced in the late 1910s or early 1920s. This is an original studio-issued still -- NOT a copy or reproduction. The still has no white borders around the outside. It appears that someone has trimmed the borders at some point, but this flaw does not greatly affect the attractive image area. We are not sure what film this still is from, or the identity of the actors who are pictured. If anyone out t has any information that would help us identify this movie, or these actors, we'd certainly appreciate hearing from you. The photo features a great Art Deco style shot of four people -- who are dressed in masquerade costumes -- watching what appears to be a wild orgy with a number of scantily clad people. Overall condition: Solid Good/Good+..... In addition to the trimmed borders, the still has some definite edge/corner wear, a small chip at the upper right corner, plus a few tears along the edges, including a repaired 4.5-inch tear -- starting at the masked man on the right side and extending just below the group of people in the center. However, the repaired tear is mainly noticeable when light hits the photo surface just right, and the other flaws do not greatly affect the main image. We strive to grade read more
