is a nice silver plate coffee pot that is double marked for the Union News Company. It has a full side logo, and is also bottom-marked with the letters spelling out “The Union News Company”. This piece was made by Reed & Barton. It measures 5.5 inches tall. The silver plate shows some wear with lots of tiny dings, but nothing is broken or damaged. It displays very nicely. The Union News Company operated a restaurant in New York’s Grand Central Terminal. They also sold newspapers and other items either on the trains, or at station stops. This is a nice memento of a long-gone era in passenger train railroading. Buyer pays shipping. Thanks for looking!
