This is a nice example of the uncommon vertical post plane made by Union. This plane has no chips, cracks or breaks to metal parts. The wood knob and tote are free of cracks, chips or breaks but do have a few minor dings. Jappaning is kind of dull on the front but over all about 95% to the good. All adjustments are intact and work as intended. The corrugated sole and the mouth are very nice. The only apology is the blade is missing. The chip breaker is t A 2" Union blade shouldn't be too hard to find. The plane has some tarnish or discoloration but no pitting. It would benefit froom a light cleaning. This is a great opportunity for someone to pick up a nice, uncommon plane for a bargin price. Shipping will be by priority mail flat rate box ($8.10) anyw in the States. Insurance (cost determined by final bid) is recommended as I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
