Distinctive beret as worn by the 11th Hussars, chestnut brown top with maroon band, so unique that the regiment did not wear a badge on this cap. I think that this is one of the rarest pieces of 20thC British military headwear, very hard to find. Maker marked inside 'J Compton, Son & Webb Ltd', size 7, date unclear but looks like 1952 . Overall in good condition but the top has suffered from fading with exposure to sun.I try to describe my items as best as possible but please ask questions, more pics available on request. I will combine postage where possible . Postage quoted is taken from the Royal Mail website, I can send by other methods if you prefer, please check for price.
