Distinctive beret as worn by the 11th Hussars, chestnut brown top with maroon band, so unique that the regiment did not wear a badge on this cap. I think that this is one of the rarest pieces of 20thC British military headwear, very hard to find. Maker marked inside 'J Compton, Son & Webb Ltd', size 7, date unclear but looks like 1952 . Overall in good condition but the top has suffered from fading with exposure to sun. I try to describe my items as best as possible but please ask questions, more pics available on request. I will combine postage where possible . Postage quoted is taken from the Royal Mail website, I can send by other methods if you prefer, please check for price.
