UNIQUE OLD ANTIQUE 8kt GOLD GERMAN FACETED BLUE GREEN INTAGLIO VIRGO ZODIAC RING Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this unique old Zodiac ring from the estate of a couple who were from Germany. The 8kt yellow gold ring is set with an unusual blue green faceted stone - I believe it's glass but I am really not sure - with a carved or intaglio image and sign of Virgo highlighted in gold. Although a rather large ring (size 10) this unusual piece could be worn by a man or woman, is marked 333 the German mark for 8kt gold, no makers mark found. CONDITION - The ring is in nice, antique, pre-owned condition! Obviously a well loved and daily worn ring showing normal age/use wear - I have not cleaned it - stone is quite nice, a little rough around the image, surface scratches in the gold as shown. SIZE - Intaglio stone measures approximately 7/16" square and 3/16" high in setting. Ring size is 10 measuring approximately 19.8mm or .781" inside diameter.
