This is a Beautiful unique and rare Antique Foot Warmer from the late 1800's or very early 1900's. This was used in horse drawn buggies and beds to keep feet warm. It cold be filled with hot water and would keep feet warm for hours. It is made out of a crock material. The screw on lid still stays on tight and the threads are great. The design on the top of this is very nice. You will see others of the same style but not with the beautiful design that is on this one. This is also called a pig crock style foot warmer due to the fact that the handle on the end looks like a pigs nose. The foot warmer does have markings on it with a number 1 1/2 on the top of the crock. Please see pictures for best views. this was made by the Clarence Potteries Co. LTD also has the word Stockton in the marking. This is a great piece do not let it get away.
