Hey I Dream of Jeannie fans! a a most unique item that you wont find anw else! This is a model of how the stopper was originally designed for the 1964 Jim Beam smoked crystal Jeannie bottle before the layout was refined and went into production as the stopper we are all familiar with. Crafted from pre-production conceptual blueprints from the manufacturing facility, a prototype was privately commissioned, and subsequently cast in solid resin dyed to match the smoked crystal glass so you dont need to have a painted Jim Beam in your collection to display this in. Coincidentaly, it weighs exactly the same as an original glass stopper! The concept stopper has roughly the same dimensions as the commercial product with a few minor differences. The fluted section flares slightly wider at the top, the crown gradates in a smooth upward slope without the familiar zigzag channel pattern, and it is topped with a ball. Hey trivia buffs: Surprisingly, t is still a hidden remnant of this concept evident in the artwork of the original box for the bottle as seen in the image below.
