Unique Edward Miller "The Solar" Oil Lamp With Ornate Base & Brass Font.This is a unique and unusual lamp by Edward Miller & Co. The foot is decorative cast brass or spelter. Recessed brass bowl and lined glass sides. Seeing the bowl through the glass creates a very cool look. Base is in great shape. No cracks in glass. Nice patina brass font and ring. The combination of glass, brass, and spelter foot looks amazing.The brass removable font has 2 dents in the bottom edge. See photos.The burner is marked E.M. The Solar on the wick knob. Removable gallery. Wick knob raises and lowers the wick perfectly. Font appears original to the lamp.8 1/2" chimney. No chips or cracks.All lamps are sold as is.
