Offered here for your consideration is a beautiful and interesting Navajo bracelet. Beautiful because it features a lovely cabochon of Easter Blue turquoise. Interesting because it has two silver horned toads on each side of the cabochon. The Easter Blue cabochon measures 1 3/4" x 7/8" and is a light blue-green color with light brown matrix. It is set in a silver scalloped bezel and surrounded with silver twisted wire. The Navajo people consider the horned toads as the ultimate good luck charm and believe it to bring longevity and self reliance. The two horned toads featured here are fascinating because they are so life-like and so much work went into creating them. They measure 1" x 1/2" and are also surrounded by silver twisted wire against an oxidized background. It weighs 69 grams and is 2" wide in the center, tapering to 5/8" at the finished end terminals. The inside of the bracelet measures 5 1/2" from end to end, NOT including the 1 1/4" gap or opening. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips on the stone. It is not signed. I am sure this bracelet will bring lots of curious looks when worn, as not too many people wear horned toads on their wrists. I thank you for looking at this bracelet and I wish you good luck in winning it. You won't be disappointed!
