Fresh out of an estate, we have up for auction a very Unique Pair of Turquoise Horse Cast Iron Bookends . I have never seen bookends quite like these before. These are not new. The paint is original - in a very unusual turquoise color. A bit of paint has been worn off around the ears and starting to on the mane of one horse, but the rest of the bodies are perfect! Tfore, these are in very good condition, no cracked or broken pieces. T is no maker's mark on either of these. They are heavy - weighing in at almost 8 lbs. for the pair! These are cast brass with a hollow center (doesn't feel like it though - they are very thick). T is worn felt padding on most of the feet. They measure 8 1/2 " tall x 6" long x 2 1/4 " wide. What a unique set to accent your home!
