I purchased these unique milk glass sconces by ARTOLIER at an estate sale last fall. I waited to list them until spring because I know that's when people do a lot of updates on their home. These are really neat pieces! I love the detailed design in the milk glass--they look better in person too! I think that they are mid-century, judging from the design and the look of the tag on the back. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. I couldn't check whether they work or not because obviously there are just loose wires on the end, but everything inside looks clean and they take a standard size light bulb. I'm not sure what the bottom part is made of, but it is heavy. The shades are held in by the 3 screws securely as is, but on the one only 1 screw is moving and on the other only 2 are moving. They other ones are really tight and could probably be worked loose, I just didn't want to break anything. Again, they do hold the glass securely but you maybe able to get an even tighter hold if all 3 were used. Pics 10 & 11 showing inside of fixture. As you can see around the socket it looks cracked and sunken in on both. I thought this was damage until I looked at both and then when I pushed around that area I realized that was just how they were made. Last pic showing some small chips of paint missing at the back. read more
