This piece features an oval piece of carnelian set into the bottom of an ornate, 18k gold scrollwork form. The carnelian is carved in an intaglia style with the initials "ALT" in reverse., so that it could be inked and used to stamp initials. This is a wonderful piece that is very unique and stylish, and will make a great addition to any vintage jewelry collection!
