Unissued Carlisle Bandage Carlisle Bandage Description: Details: This is an unissued example of the "tinned" Carlisle Bandage which all GI's and Marines carried in their first aid pouches during WWII. The cloth bandage and package of Sulfanilamide "wound powder" are sealed in an unopened metal container which is painted flat olive drab, making the markings difficult to see in the image above. These came from a box of ten dated 1943. Although the bandage is in excellent unused condition, the buyer will, nonetheless, have a five-day right of inspection and return privilege. Weight 8 oz.
