This is the United States 6th Cavalry Regiment Patch, with Airborne Tab.Air Combat Aviation Brigade The 6th Cavalry is an historical regiment with it's roots going back to the American Civil War as part of the Union Army of the Potomac.From 1865 -1871 the Regiment was stationed in Texas.It took part in the Indian & the Johnson County wars.It also saw action during the Spanish War 1898 at San Juan Hill with Teddy Roosevelts "Rough Riders" , the Boxer Rebelion of 1900,in 1909 the 6th defeated the Moras in a major battle in the Philippine campaign, in 1910 to 1916 the regiment sreved in the Mexican Border & tried to capture "Pancho Villa" .1918 saw the Regiment in France during WW1,again the regiment was deployed in Europe for WW2 . Today elements of the Regiment are deployed in Iraq Under the Global War On Terrorism.Thanks for L@@king...............
