For auction is a documents folder from The S. S. UNITED STATES dated October 1969, Voyage #399 E/B. This was her next to last voyage, "400" being her last. There is one folder inside for the Eastboundsailingand one folder for the Westbound sailing. I personally purchased these items from The UNITED STATES in Norfolk, VA when her contents were being sold off in the 1980s.The outside folder is approximately 2" thick and does have some tears and creases (please see photos). The EB & WB folders are fine.The Eastbound folder includes such items as liquor order sheets. wine order sheets, personnel papers, cabin assignments, crew muster sheets, passenger count forms, copies of daily programs and many other documents pertaining to the administrative duties on the ship. The Westbound folder includes similar items.High bidder pays $4.00 First Class U. S. postage which includes sturdy packaging. USA and Canada only. (Canada pays actual postage).
