UNITED STATES GOLD VAULT – FIVE 2013 $5 SOLID GOLD AMERICAN EAGLE COINSThis is a set of five, date 2013, each 1/10 Troy ounce, gold coins. They are enclosed inside a display case with the title “United States Gold Vault.” The 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle coin is considered legal tender in the United States with a face value of $5 though the intrinsic value of its gold content is much higher. The 1/10 oz US Gold Eagle has a $5 legal tender face value although they are traded with a premium, based on the market rate for gold. The 1/10 oz US Gold Eagle has its 1/10 oz fine gold content guaranteed by the United States Government. US Gold Eagles are 22 Karat gold which gives them a more durable surface. The American Gold Eagle is the number one gold coin in North America.
