Universal Audio UA Solo/610 Solo 610 Classic Tube Preamplifier & DI Box in Very Good Condition We are selling the excellent Universal Audio Solo/610 classic tube (valve) preamplifier and DI Box. The unit has been sparingly used in our project (read home) studio as a front-end outboard gear for vocal recording. We also used it, about four or five times, to DI a bass. It works miracles adding classic analogue warmth to otherwise 'cold' digital vocal and instrumental recordings. The unit is now excess to requirements as we are now downsizing our studio from the second bedroom to a little space underneath the stairs! We are expecting our first child, and the lovely Mrs (read assistant sound engineer) has decided a nursery is a much better room, than a gear-laddened studio, to welcome the baby. Local collection is acceptable, in which case cash upon collection will be preferable. The quoted postage fees only applies to mainland England, Wales and Scotland. Remote areas (Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, etc.) will attract a surcharge. We will supply the exact postage charges to the remote areas upon request. We will send the Solo/610, via either a courier or Royal Mail's Special Delivery Next Day, within one working day of cleared payment. The Solo/610 is in very good condition and has never been taken out of the project studio, let alone gigged. The Solo/610 rarely comes up for sale on eBay as owners tend to hold onto them forever! Brand new units, when available, sell, here on eBay and elsewhere, for between £839 and £899. We would think £419 is a reasonable starting price for this Solo/610.
