PLEASE NOTE : U S A SHIPPING ONLY !! - - SORRY, YOUR FEEDBACK MAY BE GREAT IN ANOTHER COUNTRY, BUT YOUR POSTAL SYSTEM IS NOT !!.... AS OF DEC. 7th, 2006, I will NO longer be re-listing any unsold items in an attempt to reduce my ebay & photo hosting fees.... THIS IS ONLY A 7 DAY LISTING ! This is a real puzzle to me, as I can't find it in any of my various books, & the construction & materials are very old. This rating measures out at 3 & 1/2, X 5 & 1/4 inches, & is constructed on a VERY COARSE & rough heavy weave white canvas material ( now aged almost brown).... the three stripes at the bottom are very thick, & the bottom one has some mothing under the outside edge, & looking "inside" this stripe, I can see they had first done a bottom layer of heavy white cotton cord, & then stitched the red wool over that to give a "three-dimensional" effect to the stripes, & it feels like they did that construction technique to the center red diamond lozenge with the 2 crossed anchors over-embroidered on top of that. I also have never come across this style eagle as is shown at the top of this rating. Quite soiled/yellowed from age, but everything is still nice & solid ! I had to lighten up the photos to try & show you details, so the color is actually a bit darker. Thanks for looking, & please check out all my other listings for some more read more
