A pair of nice little ironstone pitchers. Neither of them are marked, so I know virtually nothing about them. Let's start with condition issues. The first one has a design of grapes, leaves and vines. It measures 5.5" x 5.5" x 4". It is crazed, stained and has scratches. There is a small chip on the spout and an small, old hairline. The second one is plainer. It measures 5.25" x 5.25" x 4". It has a firing crack on the handle but is very stable. There is also a spot that looks like a chip but is glazed over, so it must have been done in the making. There are no other chips, cracks or crazing on this one. Please look closely at my pictures, use the zoom feature. I have tried to capture any and all defects. These do have their faults but are just too nice to put in the dump heap. Easy to clean back to white using the recipe you can find at . I am listing more ironstone this week so check out my other items.
