Unopened, Poly Cleaner Scouring Powder - Prison Made This auction is for an unusual, old kitchen cleanser box, unopened, with 2 pounds of contents. The brand on this one is "Poly Cleaner", and it was produced by Ohio Penal Industries, at the London Correctional Institution, in London, Ohio. It is referred to on the label, as "FORMULA #108", and it was "The NEW Foaming Type with 'CHLOROWAX' ADDED!". The label has a neat Parrot graphic (play on the word 'Poly'), and recommends its use on "METALWORK ~ WOODWORK ~ PORCELAIN ~ PLASTIC SURFACES". The cardboard box has a tin shaker lid (still covered) and a pry-out bottom (for filling). The bottom has a few rust spots (see photo), and the label is a little faded, but over-all, its in GREAT shape!! It is offered with a LOW opening bid and NO RESERVE.
