WELCOME TO WONDER VALLEY ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES! This is such a stunning circa 1918-38 vase, I don't know how to describe it's beauty, the photo's don't do it justice! Vase measures 8 1/4" tall and is in excellent condition, t are a few very tiny nicks on the inside rim , I could only see one with the naked eye, the rest I needed a loop magnifier to find, they are only on the inside cased layer (inside top rim). The top edge has a finished ground flat edge and could be easily re-ground if desired. The inside cased layer is a beautifully saturated orange color, deep and rich, the middle layer has different shades of green and gold as well as sparkly mica throughout all the green designs. I tried to show a close-up (photo #5) to show how intricate the design is, not only the green areas but also throughout the whole body of vase are roughly 50 vertical lines which pull through from the bottom to rim. These lines 'tug' at the edges of the green design and cut through it giving the vase a unique feathery look. These lines don't show up well in the photo's, but this vase is really impressive in person! T are no mfg. marks that I could find.
