Unusual Rare 8 Day Watch / Travel Clock Wood Frame Japanese Style Painted Design . Never seen an item quite like this before and with a bit of love it would be a stunning thing. The dial and back are stamped "SWISS MADE". Cannot see any makers markings to movement. The frame looks and feels like wood but could be resin. The diameter of the dial is 48mm and the width of the whole clock is 90mm. As you can see from the photographs there is a bit of wear to this item but it is such a lovely, rare thing that hopefully someone can restore to it's former glory! The painted wooden frame is a little faded and the dial of the clock is a little discoloured. The metal stand is also loose and would need a new hinge in order to make the clack stand up. It does tick away nicely when wound though although I think the hands need a look at as they seem a little close together and get in each others way when attempting to set the time.
