From our personal collection, this is a lovely and unusual antique Roseville early Carnelian green, mottled matte glazed, vase measuring just over 8.25" in height, and about 3.3" in diameter. As is the case with all early Carnelian pieces, this piece is unmarked, though we do see faint evidence of handwritten shape marks on the base, we can't make them out with certainty. Early Carnelian pieces were made in the first part of the 1900s - our research tells us that this piece would have been made around 1915-1916. This piece has an unusual, tall, conical shape with flared base - striking in its simplicity! The glaze is a finely mottled matte green with gold and brown tones - quite beautiful, of course, and very inviting to the touch. This piece is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks on the upper surface - has a small chip underneath in the pooled glaze at the bottom (see photo of base). An outstanding piece and a must have for the Roseville collector! Please let me know if you have any questions about this beauty! Shipping weight for this piece is estimated at about 3 lbs with proper packaging. Shipping is calculated automatically by the shipping calculator based on package weight and your zip code. No additional handling charges are added to shipping!
