Unusual French Architects Brass Folding Square. This folding set square is unusual in that it fold in to itself rather than the normal angled hinge. It has no maker name but its design would place it around the late 1800s. The folding square is in brass, it measures 6 1/16" x 5/8" when folded and 6 1/16" x 6 1/16" when open. The square is set out in metric increments on one face with the other face being plain. Condition for its age is good the hinge has no play and both leaves align with some very minor dings and scratches with normal wear to faces. I have tried to show the square and its wear and tear as accurately as I can in my pictures. Note.
