For auction is this very unusual and hard to find Higbee open salt or sugar cube holder. In actuallity it mainly was used to put sugare cubes in back when they were used frequently, hence the V shape of the bowl. It has a round base and a handle . On the bottom of the base is the traditional bee with H in the left wing, I in the body, and and G in the right wing all on the bee. The size is 1 1/2" to the top of the bowl,1 1/2" wide, and 3" long. This is a wonderful piece of glass and quite unusual too, a great addition to any glass collection. I purchased it as a salt, so some do use it in that capacity. Thanks for looking.
