This is a pair of unusual fossil sharks teeth from near the famous old site, Sharks Tooth Hill in California! They are probably from an extinct Tiger Shark, Galeocerdo sp. They appear to be positional variants, sympheseal examples, but they look a bit like Megachasma teeth too! You, the discerning buyer, can decide what you think!!! The condition & color of the specimens are especially nice, & they are both very close to perfect! This should be a wonderful pair of specimens for a collection or reselling! The larger tooth measures 1/2" in length. They were found in Middle Miocene age deposits, in the Round Mountain Silt Formation, in Kern County, California near Bakersfield on private land owned by Robert Ernst. Thanks for looking.
