Updated 3/18/13 please notice revision in condition :) ....... Fantastic & R A R E* LOT of 33 vintage (mostly WW1), WW2 fighter-planes / planes. All sets are original & complete and are in perfect condition. The boxes have imperfections but are still vibrant in color and detail with fantastic images!! All boxes have been wiped down since the time I listed this LOT. In doing so, the ending results were successful!!.... all of the boxes are dust free and shiny + (bonus any of mildew that was on the boxes actually came off)!! There only remains faded marks/spots "here and there" on approximately 5-6 covers (barely noticeable :)!! There still remains 2 boxes with a small pc of the photo missing off the side and one with a black spot near the tear , probably due to tape removal/moisture , there is a little bit of an old smell lingering "on the boxes" .Decals in 3-4 of the boxes have some faded, dead mildew on them (mostly on the outer edegs. Some of the decal cards are curved/warped, but the decals themselves are still intact. Some planes are "Famous Fighters"! Some have extra detail and additional parts ("deluxe") then others. All models have been stored for their "life time" and have only been opened by the org owner once or twice. Most recently, opened by me, for purposes of inspection. The value of these, "all together"with issues on the box covers "accounted for" is: "at least" $1,000.00 or more!! Some History:: The original owner's dad was a pilot in WW1 and he "himself" was also a pilot- in WW2. He survived the war and went forth in life "with mostly good memories" of some of the planes he- worked on, flew and the "not so happy memories" of his encounters with the adversary. With a strong connection, admiration and desire for air planes, he continued on with his life's journey in aviation. Occasionally piloting his personal plane and pursuing his occupation in agricultural aircraft and retired out of O'Hare Airport. He now suffers from stage 1 Alzheimer disease but still, "often" talks about the old airplanes / fighter-planes he encountered in the past.
