This large and heavy old sago hammer was collected in the Upper Sepik between 1968-77. It consists of a long wooden shaft with a large stone adze secured with cane bindings. It measures 90cm in length and 47cm wide. Reg Post within Australia will cost between $14US and $20US depending on the postcode. Shipping to the US is $80US and $92US to anywhere in Europe. Note Parcels sent to the USA that are over 500grams in weight are subject to a $9 security surcharge and may take 48 hours longer than normal. The above postage quote has this cost included.
