US American Defense Service Medal Dealer Lot Of 10 You are bidding on a dealer lot of 10 full size US medals. On 28 June 1941, President Roosevelt approved the American Defense Service Medal for members of the United States Armed Forces serving between 8 September 1939 and 7 December 1941 during a "state of limited emergency". Army personnel serving 12 months honorable federal service and Navy personnel serving 10 days active duty were eligible to receive this award. Additionally, both the Army and the Navy authorized service clasps to be worn on the suspension ribbon to denote service outside of the continental US.Currently produced by the Official Government manufacturer, the condition is unissued.
