I bought this jacket in the 1970's at a military surplus store. Perhaps it had never been issued because it did not have any badges, markings or U.S. Army label on the jacket. The size tag on the inside collar had been removed (not by me). T is no fraying around the collar or wrists and the olive drab green color is not faded. Overall, I consider this jacket to be in very good condition except for one area near the bottom pocket that I repaired (see photo) and a small 1.5" x .5"right angle tear on the interior lining below the collar that I also repaired. The interior cotton liner is non-detachable and t is a removable hood inside the zippered neck collar. All the buttons are tightly sewn on and a ll the snaps are present and working well: snaps along the heavy brass Scovill zipper in the front plus two snaps on the chest pockets and two snaps on the waist pockets. Those pockets have overlapping flaps. T are Velcro closures on the wrist and collar. The cotton inside drawstring on the waist and the elasticized drawstring (still stretches ) at the bottom hem are intact and good. The approximate measurements are: 19" from the underarm seam to the wrist; 25" across the chest (50") and 32" from the shoulder seam to the hip hem. Jacket should comfortably fit someone who is 5"11"-6'1" and about 185-200 lbs. Email if you wish to see more read more
