You are bidding on one US Army Battery Command Binocular M65 Periscope. This is the periscope binocular used in bunkers and trenches to observe the enemy without getting your head shot off by snipers. It's great for looking at things in the distance without exposing your head to the line of vision of whomever you are looking at. This is a surplus item that I have had for over ten years and am cleaning out my collection so is your chance to get the only one I have ever seen in tact and working. This item is of course used, but in great working order. The adjustments still work and both lenses are in tact and without cracks or breakages. The periscope is clear and distant objects are brought in with adjustments for making the scope fit the users vision. The scope has covers for the front lenses and for the eye pieces. The tripod has adjustable legs for height and for leveling the scope. They fold up to less than half of their extended length and have metal tips to dig into the ground for steady vision without movement. The scope case is made of wood and has felt lining to absorb shock so that the scope is not damaged in transit. The latches all work perfectly and the carry handle is in tact as well.
