Khaki muzzle covers were issued to all troops to prevent rain and debris from entering the bore of their weapon. Although most commonly associated with the M-1 Garand rifle, the muzzle cover was universal, and would fit any weapon from Carbine to Thompson SMG to BAR. This khaki muzzle cover is US marked, produced by E.A. Brown Mfg. Co., and dated 1944. In mint condition and fully functional.
