This is an old horse collar with solid brass fixtures for hitching a wagon! I researched this w/ the United States Infantry Museum on Fort Benning, GA. We determined that it was probably used by the Quartermaster Corps around the time of the first World War. My father had these items for a long time, but I'm not sure w he got them. The leather is in great shape for being nearly 100 years old. The solid brass fixtures are really heavy and would look great in a display w/ the collar and the appropriate rigging. Shipping will be actual cost via regular ground shiping (USPS) plus $2.
