The Bayonet reads: US 798743 on one side, the other side reads: SA, fire-bomb symbol, 1918. Overall length is 20 3/8", blade length 15 3/4". The bayonet is in very good condition, no missing metal and a sharp point. Wood handle on one side has a small piece missing, as seen in picture, the other side of handle is completely intact. Release push button works perfectly.The Scabbard reads: US inside a circle of the fire-bomb as seen in picture. Bayonet fits securely in scabbard and locks tight. Very good condition with no visible marring or gouges.Please ask all questions before bidding, I've have described item to the best of my knowledge.
