I Think This Is A "US SPRINGFIELD - M1973/79 - 45/70 TRAPDOOR SOCKET BAYONET", But I Am Not Sure. I will do my best to describe it. Overall length is 21", it is marked "US". It looks like it has been blued and it does have some fine pits. The retaining ring/clamp moves freely. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions before bidding.
