Uniform Details: This is a fine quality reproduction of the standard paratrooper uniform jump trousers used by the US Army airborne units during WWII. This basic model saw action in North Africa , Sicily and Normandy Campaigns. It was replaced by the M-1943 uniform around the time of the Arnhem-Nijmegan operations. This is a quality reproduction airborne uniform set of pants. It is unlined and made from 100% cotton. This uniform pant set is one part of a two part uniform. This is the early model without any re-enforcing or leg ties. Perfect for an alternate impression or "walking out" suit. The trousers have a fine cut about the ankle (perfect for blousing) and compare well with other replica US WWII paratrooper garments on the market. They have a button fly, watch pocket, waist belt tabs and buttons for suspenders. The side pockets have been set with raw steel (zinc plated) scovil brand snaps. It is a fine olive drab #3 (khaki).
