He had a world class collection of USA and Possessions and had donated the proceeds from the sales for scholarships at his Medical School (Vanderbilt University). We had not yet received the best material, but sold about 1600 lots on eBay. Included were great USA cut squares, USA match and medicine stamps, USA Booklets and Panes, DWI, Canal Zone. and Plate Bocks (such as #523 VF Mint NH plate block of 8). Unfortunately, the owner passed away in late 2011, and we returned the unsold material to his executor. Then….on February 1, 2013 (14 months later) the executor (with the approval of the University and numerous attorneys) brought all the remainders plus the good stuff back to us.
