This auction is for SIX (6) motors. The image is representative of the model but not the condition.Each of these engines have either a wire mesh shield (24b), slotted screen/stainless steel shield (25b - looks like hose clamp) or a 2 slit exhaust port cylinder (26b).Some have needle valves, some don't.THESE ARE USED: We have not cleaned or prepped these units - no guarantee to condition - the batch is AS IS. These are not crashed motors and look in good condition. No dirt clogs but there may be dried oil residue. Most do not turn. In most cases this is due to oils hardening after sitting too long. We have had good success cleaning these with PB Blaster (shoot a little into the top of the cylinder and let it sit for a few hours). Some recommend denatured alcohol and others recommend nitro. Consider this a fun project - and it is, as well as helpful if you want experience rebuilding these simple motors. THESE MOTORS HAVE HISTORY: According to the COX MODEL ENGINE HANDBOOK (Tim Dannels and Dan Sitter, published by Engine Collectors’ Journal and sold on eBay by engmagswife), this motor was for the Action Van (1974-77), Adam 12 (1975), Matador (1975-77) and the Sandblaster (1976-1977).
