Please note: I am shipping FedEx and USPS, not UPS. Use the shipping calculatorâe(tm)s UPS rates, they are close enough (if they are too low, Iâe(tm)ll absorb the difference). Please provide a physical address for FedEx, no PO Boxes. If you need to ship to a PO Box, please choose the USPS choices: Priority Mail and Parcel Post. If you provide a phone number, it will be provided on the shipping document to assist the driver in finding youâe"this is optional. For FedEx shipments, I will be using a new program that will take your information directly from the ebay sale to the shipping document. If I have enough information, I will try to send you an email with the tracking number(s). Sorry for any inconvenience the shift to FedEx may cause. If FedEx is absolutely not workable for you, please use the USPS options. I will no longer be shipping this item internationally. Changing rules in the surplus world make this adjustment necessary. If the rules change back, Iâe(tm)ll list these items again. This set comes unassembled. Look in the tech manuals to see exactly how it should be set up. Genuine US Military Surplus Molle II Main Pack, Sleep System Carrier, Shoulder harness, waist belt and Molle II frame. Frame is black, all the rest is woodland camo. I want to tell you, a lot of junk can be packed in these things. I had no idea until I needed to fill them for the pictures. I grabbed what I thought would do the job and was only about 2/3 the way full. I packed a civilian moderate temp sleeping bag in the sleep system carrier, and it handled it well. Problem was it was too heavy for easy handling for the pictures. So I cheated and filled it with bubble wrap--a lot of bubble wrap! The top section was stuffed with two twin size quilted bedspreads. Really a lot of material and I had room for more. I'm sure the sheets and pillowcases would have easily gone in t also. AND that left the zipper pocket on the main pack unused. It's designed specifically for carrying a claymore mine. Well, I checked and sure enough I was out of claymore's so I guess you can put just about anything in it you want. Both of the sections have inner closures, which cinch down and help keep dust out. The larger over flap is designed to provide weather protection in both cases. The flap of the Main Pack has a plastic liner with a Velcro closure to provide a convenient map case. Not very handy for the guy carrying it because he has to doff the pack to see the map. However, it is great for the platoon leader to have access to a map he can read with just a couple quick clicks. Click-click and it's closed up and safe again. After filling this rig only partially filled and without any of the other myriads of attachments, I know why I went into submarines--no marching, good chow provided by a full service galley (no MRE's in 20 years!). I guess if you have to pack out, then this is a pretty nice rig to do it in. Depending on how much you carry, you can tailor the Molle II system pieces for maximum efficiency. The original Molle frame was much lighter duty than it's successor, the Molle II frame. For what it's worth, the reason the Molle II was developed was to meet the need of the super back packer--the infantryman in the army and marines. They pack out over half their body weight on a regular basis. Given all that stuff to carry, the original molle frames just wouldn't hold up. They cracked and broke on a regular basis. I am including with the frame, pack, carrier, harness (harness includes the two quick release lower straps sometimes missing when received from surplus vendors) and belt, 2 short tri-glide attachment straps and 2 of the ladderlock buckles (needed to attach the 1" stabilizer strap back up to the frame above your shoulder. It helps to redistribute the weight from the waist belt up to your shoulders and back). NO loose tri-glide straps are used to connect the Main Pack and Sleep Carrier directly to the frame. Each of those packs has ...
