This is a U.S. Marine Corps field cap developed for cold weather use during the Korean War. It is size 6 3/4 and shows 1952 date. See tag for technical details. The ear flaps were nice to have, but the hat didn't stay around after the war. The shape looked too much like a Ridgeway and you had to attach a metal EGA which this has on it. This is in amazinly excellent condition for the age and is quite rare - I haven't seen one in years. Buyer pays 5.20 postage.
