USMC Officer's uniform with pair of pants. The trousers are size 31 waist with 30 inseam with an extra 3 inches in the hem. Both tunic and trousers are 100% wool. I estimate that the size of the tunic is 38 or 39 Regular. These sizes are estimates based on my measurements. They are intended for a collector not for someone who wants to wear this uniform to an inspection. The tunic has a tailor's tag from Joseph A Wilner & Co. (Tailor) and a tag indicating that it is in conformity with USMC uniform standards, The original owner's name and rank (Lieutenant) is on a tag inside the jacket. The tag is dated 11/17/55. It is very well made and remains in outstanding condition. To the tunic, I have added the rank insignia of a 4 Star General such as the Marine Corps Commandant as well as pilot's wings and 24 ribbons reflecting service in WW II, service in China as well as in the liberation of the Phillipines. I have included a brand new replacement white strip for the neck. The Eagle Globe and Anchor (EGA) insignia are NOT included. They are for demonstration only. If the winner needs a set of brand new collar insignia, I can acquire a set and sell it to the winner for an additional charge. I accept checks and money orders.
