The US Marines introduced Marpat (Marine Pattern) digital desert camouflage in 2001. The pants feature elasticised waist gathers and cargo pocket tops, and dropped the ankle ties from the old BDUs. The camo made its first appearance on the battlefield in Iraq in the epic Battle of Fallujah in November of 2004. Fallujah was a milestone struggle, fought tooth and nail, with no quarter asked or given. Never before in modern warfare was so heavily fortified a city stormed so quickly, at such cost to the defenders, and by so small a group of men. These US Marine Desert Marpat digital camo pants are in excellent to near mint condition. They have the USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor as part of the camo pattern, distinguishing them from commercial aftermarket lookalikes. The US Government is suspending the sale of genuine Marpat items to non-Marines, soon only the lookalikes will be available. Size Small regular (27-31 waist x 32 length) . Used in the War on Terror by "a few good men". All items are 100% guaranteed, your satisfaction or complete refund. 7-day return policy.
