Snyder's Treasures is pleased to offer An Original and Authentic WWII World War II USMC Marine Corps MINIATURE Scale Model "CASE" Slab Handle Fighting Knife With Scabbard This is the real deal! This is a Hand Made World War II USMC Marine Corps MINIATURE Scale Model "CASE" Slab Handle Fighting Knife. This is 1/3 scale model of the famed World War II slab handle knife. It is shown with a US quarter dollar coin for scale purposes. It is a MINIATURE.The detail and workmanship are superlative throughout. The bright steel blade has "CASE and "JM" maker markings near the guard on the blade. The scabbard is leather with a riveted loop hanger. The handle is a pair of wood slabs riveted to the blade with three brass rivets. It is marked US on one side. T is no separate crossguard, a swell at the ricasso of the blade serving the purpose.The entire knife and scabbard measure 5-1/2 inches long. The steel blade measures 3 inches long tip to grips, the knife is 4-3/4 inches long overall. The scabbard is 5-1/4 inches long including the loop. This is an image of the back .
