Impossible to find at a reasonable price: Original USMC issue Danner RAT ( Rugged A ll T errain) Mountain Boots, #15660 in size 12.5 Regular . Used Excellent condition with some very minor scuffing of the toes and heels from the mountains of Afghanistan. These boots are back from Afghanistan deployment but show exceptionally little wear. Truly in excellent condition . Danner RAT boots are quite simply recognized as the best warfighting mountain combat boots on the market today. 100% USMC Issue not commercial look-a-likes, or USMC rejects. The Manufacturer, Danner, lists these boots for sale on their website for $340 (if you doubt this, cut & past the model number into your browser and check this out for yourself). Due to the high cost and specialized nature of the RAT boots, marines are issued and only authorized to wear these "in theater" and are not authorized for peacetime garrison wear on bases here in the USA. Developed side by side with the United States Marine Corps, the RAT (Rugged All Terrain) earned its reputation among this nation’s elite warfighters. If you research RAT boots you will find that Danner is the sole supplier of the RAT boots to the USMC.
