Both from estate of career aviator who flew in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. #1 is leg type clip board that is Rigger custom made of aircraft aluminum & perspex. Board section measures 5x8" - still full of paper and complete w/flip up perspex top cover that is retained by small latch. Curve formed leg bracket is fitted with saftey strap. Really an unusual piece comprised of various military aircraft components. #2 Very unusual leg type flight map holding calculator that consists of a 8x11" body with flip-up perspex top that is fitted with a bi-pivoting arm with rotating grid as well as a small button that consists of a wire reel - perhaps for attaching to pen or pencil so that it can not be lost? Has USN Department of Research metal ID plat riveted to bottom so may be an experimental accessory. Shows little age - very well made! Appears WWII but no dates!
