I am selling off my father's photographs and memorabilia from the time he served in the US Navy from the late 1920's to the late 1930's. This is a 9 3/4"X 5 7/8" black and white picture on photo paper. This collage Asiatic Station itinerary was probably composed and illustrated by R. H. Galvin, USMC who was stationed on the USS Pittsburgh in 1929. Galvin probably composed and illustrated numerous collages between 1929 and 1931, some of which I will be listing in the next several days. See the link http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/images/h93000/h93452c.htm for additional information. See the link /wiki/USS_Pittsburgh_(CA-4 ), the section titled Inter-war period, to glean additional detail on the 5 year history of this ship during this time period. Please feel free to ask questions.
