Three items for the USS Silversides SS 236. #1 Silversides by Robert Trumbull, published 1945 First Printing Holt Publishing N.Y.N.Y., 217 pages with 12 pages of photo's of Submarine events and ships crew, good condition throughout with slight foxing due to age and war time paper quality. T are a number of Submarine Histories, of various famous boats, yet very few were actually published during the war. This is one of them. Please understand that all info had to pass Naval censors. The second item #2 is 21 inch Submerged Torpedo Tubes Marks 32 to 39 and Modifications as in SS 198 and up, published by Bureau of Ordnance Dept. of the Navy Washington D.C. June 1944. Many illustrations and several fold out color plates. Hardcover, used condition but good inside, 149 pages. The third item #3 is 21 inch Submerged Torpedo Tubes Mark 32, 33, 34, 35, and MODS installed in SS - 212 to SS 525, First Revision paper boards, 120 pages good fair condition with some edge wear. On the Front Cover is : USS SILVERSIDES Received Sept 8 1949 and initialed by the C.O.. Everything about Torpedo Tubes. Please add $8.10 for U.S. Postal Priority boxed padded shipping.
