Uzbek small bags were very popular in Central Asian region. All small articles like small bags for tea, small bags for salt, tubeteika - scull-hats and many other objects have been embroidered by Uzbek skill workers with love to bring pleasure to all people. This is a really worthy sample of Uzbek skill and quality of small silk handmade embroidery - Uzbek case- bag fully embroidered in silk for keeping the sacred book of Muslims. The item was made in second part of 20 centuries. The front part of the item is fully embroidered. The pattern of the embroidery is composed of geometrical motifs - four octagonal medallions. Silk handmade embroidery is stitched on cotton fabric in cross stitch technique. The backside of the item is a violet red velveteen cloth. The sides and bottom of the item are decorated with crochet work and tassels of different colors. It has a lining of printed cotton. This beautiful item can be used as a wall decoration.
