We purchased this cast iron trivet by the Va. Metalcrafters of Waynesboro, Va. at a recent estate auction. It is not new and it has been used. T is some small amount of loss of the black coating. I have washed it, but it does have a very light oily feel to it and should probably be washed again. The black rectangle to the top left of the little girl's head is a building and on the back of this is the Va. Metalcrafters' mark and 9 -14. The trivet is 11 & 1/4" long x 6 & 3/8" wide x 7/8" tall. Va. Metalcrafters is no longer in business. Their items have always been collectible and, I think that they may become even more so.
